Piramal Pharma, Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services Form Strategic Collaboration in ADCs
The CDMOs, Piramal Pharma Solutions and Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, have formed a strategic collaboration in antibody drug conjugate (ADC) development and manufacturing.

Under this collaboration, Piramal will refer applicable customers seeking ADC manufacturing technology to Aji Bio-Pharma and AJICAP, Aji Bio-Pharma’s site-specific conjugation and linker technology. In turn, Aji Bio-Pharma will refer Piramal to customers as a potential CDMO for manufacturing products using AJICAP technology, supporting their programs across development and manufacturing. Following the execution of the agreement, Piramal and Ajinomoto will enter into a separate material-transfer agreement to allow the transfer of technology between the companies.

Alcami To Acquire Tjoapack
Alcami, a CDMO of drug products and provider of analytical testing services, has agreed to acquire Tjoapack, a contract packaging organization with facilities in the US and the Netherlands. Tjoapack’s packaging and labeling services include oral solid dose (blister and bottles), sterile injectables (vials, prefilled syringes and auto-injectors), and kitting. Tjoapack operates from facilities in Clinton, Tennessee, and Etten-Leur, the Netherlands, with 23 packaging lines.

This purchase enables Alcami to offer US supply-chain redundancy and scale for packaging and labeling while adding Qualified Person release and related services in Europe.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
