Resilience To Manufacture mRNA for Moderna’s COVID-19 Vaccine
Resilience, a recently launched manufacturing and technology company, has entered into an agreement with Moderna to manufacture vaccine substance for Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Resilience will produce mRNA for Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine at its facility in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, for distribution globally. Resilience acquired the facility earlier this year (2021) from an undisclosed party.

Moderna recently announced a memorandum of understanding with the Canadian government to build a mRNA vaccine-manufacturing facility in Canada. The facility would provide Canada with access to a domestically manufactured portfolio of mRNA vaccines against respiratory viruses, including COVID-19, seasonal influenza, respiratory syncytial virus, and potential other vaccines, pending licensure.
