Haisco, Sentivera in $1.5-Bn PreClinical Drug Pact
Haisco Pharmaceutical Group, a Beijing-based bio/pharmaceutical company, has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Sentivera, a new US venture founded by Population Health Partners and ARCH Venture Partners, to grant Sentivera the rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize its independently developed one preclinical innovative drug globally, excluding Greater China, in a deal worth up to $1.5 billion ($75 million upfront and $1.46 billion in milestone payments).
As a core immunology asset of Haisco, this asset inhibits the development and progression of Type 2 inflammatory diseases. This asset received investigational new drug approval in China in August 2026. The total deal value reaches over $1.5 billion, including an upfront payment and equity consideration in the new venture totaling $75.89 million, up to $1.46 billion in development, regulatory, and commercial milestone payments, and mid-single digits to low double digit tiered royalties on post‑launch net sales.

SpyGlass Pharma Opens New Headquarters
SpyGlass Pharma, an Irvine, California-based clinical-stage bio/pharmaceutical company focused on chronic eye conditions, has opened its new 33,000-square-foot headquarters site in Irvine. The new headquarters also provides expanded product development space.
SpyGlass Pharma established its first laboratory space in Irvine in 2021 before expanding to a larger facility in Aliso Viejo, California. After advancing its lead product candidate from the R&D phase to Phase III clinical trials, the company outgrew its former facility following a successful initial public offering in February 2026, in which it raised $172.5 million in gross proceeds. The company is now expanding its footprint as it plans to scale up for commercialization of its sustained drug-delivery system and advance its ophthalmology pipeline.
