Alcami Corporation, a contract development and manufacturing organization for active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products, has launched an international sales office in Tokyo, Japan.

The company is expanding its presence in Japan to strengthen business relationships in the region. The new branch will provide a home base for Alcami’s local customers and serve Japanese companies interested in developing and manufacturing products for launch in the US market.

The Tokyo Shiodome Building was strategically chosen to allow for closer collaboration with Alcami’s regional pharmaceutical and biotechnology customer base. The office space will initially house representatives of Alcami’s global sales and business development team, with plans to later include quality, regulatory, and project management teams.
