Almac Group, the global contract development and manufacturing organization, has relocated its peptide custom synthesis operations from their existing Elvingston facility to a custom-designed, 7,000-square foot wing of the Fleming Building at the Edinburgh Technopole, a member of the Edinburgh Science Triangle, a business park outside of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The move relocates the front end of the Almac’s Peptide and Protein Technology Department, which provides peptide custom synthesis and process development services. The move, supported by a £450,000 ($659,000) investment from Scottish Enterprise, represents a £3.5 million ($5.1 million) investment by Almac in laboratories, offices and equipment.
