Ampac Fine Chemicals Makes Senior Appointments
Ampac Fine Chemicals (AFC) has appointed Don Whiteaker to the position of vice president, supply chain, and Jeff Butler to the position of executive director, project management.
Both are current AFC employees. Whiteaker joined AFC in 2015 as senior director, supply chain, and Butler in 2011 as a process scientist.
Whiteaker has served in similar roles with major pharmaceutical firms and prior to joining AFC, he managed the supply chain and sourcing functions at Boehringer Ingelheim’s finished-drug operations in Cleveland, Ohio.
All strategic sourcing as well as planning and logistics will report to Whiteaker across all AFC facilities. Whiteaker will continue to operate out of AFC’s Rancho Cordova, California facilities.
Butler has held technical leadership roles of increasing responsibility serving on multiple new drug-development projects and as the key relationship manager for major customers. In his new role, Butler is responsible for leading the project management function at AFC.
