Ashland Specialities France, a subsidiary of Ashland Global Holdings, has been granted an EXCiPACT certificate by the Société Générale de Surveillance, a Hamburg, Germany-based certifying body of EXCiPACT, for Ashland’s pharmaceutical excipients manufacturing site in Alizay, France. EXCiPACT is a voluntary international scheme to provide independent third-party certification of manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of pharmaceutical excipients.

The certificate demonstrates that Ashland’s site in Alizay, France, manufactures pharmaceutical excipients according to the EXCiPACT good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification standard. Its scope covers the manufacture of carmellose sodium/sodium carboxymethylcellulose in bags for use as excipients.
