Bayer, Cube Launch Collaborative Space for Start-Ups
Bayer, a founding member and life sciences partner of Cube, a start-up initiative headquartered in Berlin, Germany, has launched a cooperation space in Berlin with Cube and other representatives of industry and politics, to be a venue for collaboration for start-ups, industrial companies, and partners from the Cube network. Selected start-ups are expected to work together with companies in the cooperation space on cross-industry digitalization projects in the life sciences, digital health, and industry.
Start-ups in the areas of the life sciences, digital health, machinery, and manufacturing as well as infrastructure and connectivity can apply for membership in the Cube network. Cube has also launched a competition for start-ups to win EUR 1 million ($1.1 million), which is intended to give the winner a degree of independence and enable it to develop and expand partnerships with companies without having to seek further investments and investors in advance.
