Chanelle Group To Invest $78 Million To Expand Manufacturing and R&D
Chanelle Group, a generic animal health company based in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland, is investing EUR 70 million ($78 million) to expand manufacturing capacity at its Loughrea headquarters and invest in research and development. Chanelle Group currently employs 375 people in Ireland, the UK, Jordan, and India.
The investment will double production capacity at theLoughrea manufacturing facility and add 175 new jobs. Construction on the expansion of production facilities which will add 30,000 square feet to the manufacturing plant and will begin in March. 45 jobs will be created during construction.
Chanelle holds over 1700 animal health licenses registered in the European Union and 500 animal health licenses registered in the rest of the world. It has three R&D facilities in Ireland and one in Jordan. Its sales offices are located in: Galway, Ireland; Hungerford, UK; and Mumbai, India.
