Cook Pharmica Plans $28 M Expansion
Cook Pharmica, LLC, a contract development and manufacturing organization, plans to expand its fill-finish operations at its facility in Bloomington, Indiana. The company plans to invest $28 million to add an additional drug product line that will fill drug product into syringes, vials (both liquid and lyophilized), and cartridges. Readiness activities for the new line have already begun, with plans to have the new line operating in early 2017. The announcement was made by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, a business development organization of the state of Indiana. >/p>
Cook Pharmica currently employs 575 associates, part of more than 13,000 Cook Group employees worldwide. The expansion is expected to add 70 new jobs.
