CoreRx, a Clearwater, Florida-based contract development manufacturing organization, has announced plans to continue expanding its drug product development and manufacturing capabilities at its site in Clearwater. The expansion will include 15,000 square feet of space for a new warehouse, offices, and additional manufacturing, including suites to support GMP requirements for international clinical studies. The additional expansions are expected to be completed by the middle of the second quarter in 2017 and will include 35 additional employees to the Clearwater workforce over time.

This new expansion builds on earlier growth efforts at the site that consisted of five new manufacturing suites as well as added large-scale capacity to the company’s wet granulation/fluid bed processing operations.
