Famar Appoints President
Famar, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has appointed Bruno Biscaro as President, North America. In this role, Biscaro will lead all Famar’s business activities and operations within the region.
Biscaro brings over 30 years of leadership experience in building teams, establishing customer relationships, and creating performing businesses. He most recently was the President of Accucaps, a Canadian CDMO of softgels, which was acquired by Catalent in 2017. Prior to that, Biscaro was the Regional Director of GlaxoSmithKline as part of the North American Executive Team for Global Manufacturing and Supply.
As part of its strategy to better support existing and new customers within North America, Famar earlier acquired a former Bayer site in Pointe Claire, Montreal in 2017 and established it as Non-Sterile Center of Excellence in Liquids, Semi-Solids and Nasal Sprays.
