Fareva has completed a $30 million investment at its facility in Richmond, Virginia to expand production by 100 million aerosol units. Production of the new facility started in October 2015. The Richmond site produces over 200 million pharmaceutical products a year in a variety of dosage forms, including topical and vaginal creams, ointments, oral liquids and suspensions, suppositories, lip balms, ovule and solid dose packaging and bag-on-valve production (i.e., aerosol filling). The facility has 470 employees.
