GE Healthcare Opens $7.4 Million Bioprocessing Center in Korea
GE Healthcare’s Life Sciences business has opened its new GE Fast Trak Center in Songdo, Incheon Metropolitan City, in South Korea, with an investment of $7.4 Million. The center will provide hands-on practical training, technology evaluation, manufacturing support, and consultancy services in strategies and technologies for upstream and downstream bioprocessing. This marks the fifth Fast Trak Center that GE Healthcare has established globally; it also has centers in the US, Sweden, India, and China. The company also has satellite Fast Trak Centers in Turkey, Japan and Singapore.
GE’s Fast Trak training centers are equipped with technologies for bioprocessing in an environment and at a scale that closely replicates the real-life industrial setting, according to the company.
