Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, will invest more than $125 million for the expansion of its fill/finish facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. The investment in its sterile production operations will result in the addition of up to 100 new skilled manufacturing jobs over the next five years, potentially bringing the total number of Genentech jobs in Oregon to over 500 .

Genentech opened operations in Hillsboro in April 2010. The site is home to a fill/finish facility and warehousing and distribution center.
