Hermes Pharma, a Pullach, Germany-based producer of  oral dosage forms, has launched a new desiccant stopper suitable for multi-dose tablet tube containers. With an improved finger-mold grip, the stopper can be removed with a rip of a safety ring (first step) and lift-off (second step). The desiccant stopper fits back onto the tube, protecting the remaining tablets.

The stoppers are produced to the same specification and amount of desiccant as the existing stoppers, so no additional stability data are required. H The new stoppers are also compatible with various tube sizes and materials.
