Marken, a Research Triangle Park, North Carolina-based pharmaceutical and life sciences supply-chain organization, has opened its latest good distribution practices (GDP)-compliant operations center in Zurich, Switzerland, in response to increased demand from local pharmaceutical companies with growing clinical development programs.

The facility includes office and warehouse space with ability to hold temperature-controlled packaging. The facility will be fully staffed and can collect and ship clinical drug product from the Zurich gateway to various destinations worldwide.

Marken has a GMP-compliant depot network and logistic hubs in 43 locations globally.
