Metrics Contract Services, a contract development and manufacturing organization, is expanding its analytical lab capabilities by adding two new ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) systems.

Metrics has acquired two new Waters ACQUITY UPLC systems. These additional UPLC systems will help the company's chemists produce better resolution liquid-chromatography separations in shorter analysis times, thereby improving characterization of complex samples. This equipment acquisition is the latest in a series of investments Metrics has been making in its physical facilities and equipment. Most recently, the company added a Thermo Scientific iCAP Q ICP-MS mass spectrometer and a Milestone UltraWAVE Single Reaction Chamber digestion vessel.
