UK-based Onyx Scientific is investing in continuous flow manufacturing to allow its customers to explore alternatives during product research and development programs. Also, as part of a wider investment initiative, Onyx Scientific is also expanding its GMP capacity at its site in Sunderland, the UK by investing in additional vessels.

Onyx Scientific, owned by Ipca Laboratorities, assists companies from medicinal chemistry and preclinical through Phase I-III, and scale-up to API production. It also recently enhanced its presence in the US by adding local representation to support West Coast clients.

The company has an alliance with Molecular Profiles to provide drug-development companies with complementary chemistry, API manufacturing, and formulation-development services.
