Pall Corporation, a provider of filtration, separation, and purification products and services, is providing products for a $2-million center of excellence for biologics manufacturing for Nanyang Polytechnic, a training institute in Singapore. Pall hosted the opening of the center in January 2018.

The Nanyang Polytechnic Center of Excellence features Pall Biotech technologies for practical training and application. It is showcasing single-use technologies, including chromatography column packing and filter-integrity testing apparatus supplied by Pall Biotech. The training center is part of the School of Chemical & Life Sciences at Nanyang Polytechnic. The training center will annually introduce 300 students to its industry technologies.

The center adds to the existing labs located at Nanyang Polytechnic. Nanyang Polytechnic also plans to support industry professionals with short industry courses on cell culture, sterilization techniques, and filtration technologies.
