QPSI Buys Prescription and OTC Packaging Company
Quality Packaging Specialists International (QPSI), a privately owned Burlington, New Jersey-headquartered outsourced packaging supply-chain solution provider, has acquired 100% ownership of International Labs, a St. Petersburg, Florida-headquartered prescription drug and over-the-counter product packaging company, in an equity exchange transaction.
The acquisition expands QPSI’s primary packaging capabilities and direct-to-retail distribution. International Labs delivers adherence packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products primarily to national retailers and has capacity to produce over 140 million units per year. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
