Recipharm, a contract development and manufacturing organization, has completed a serialization project for China on behalf of one of its customers. Fifty seven serialized batches have been supplied since February 2014.

The project is for a top ten pharmaceutical company.Advanced planning vetted suppliers during the period between February and June 2013 with orders placed in early July of 2013. Project teams and a joint steering committee were formed to implement the project. The project involved giving each individual box its own 1D barcode and unique serial number.
