Ricerca Biosciences Acquired by Private Equity Firm
The parent company of Ricerca Biosciences, LLC, a contract service provider offering pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services based in Concord, Ohio, has been acquired by Main Market Partners, LLC, a middleâ€market growth investment fund based in Akorn, Ohio. Ricerca provides nonclinical support for drug candidate through analytical and chemical development services.
Initial enhancements at Ricerca will include a revitalized leadership team, including key members of the company's existing staff, and enhanced capital support. Clifford W. Croley of Main Market Partners has been named the new CEO of Ricerca.
