Sartorius Stedim Biotech (SSB), a supplier for the biopharmaceutical industry, has opened a new bioanalytical and biosafety testing laboratory in Boston, Massachusetts designed for the company’s BioOutsource brand assay platforms.

The purpose-built laboratory features biacore analytical instruments and offers advanced analytical testing services. These testing services include antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity, complement-dependent cytotoxicity, and surface plasmon resonance assay platforms as well as cell-based assays and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.

The new laboratory, which covers approximately 9,000 square feet, will also provide GMP-compliant in vitro and polymerase chain reaction-based assays. The staff is comprised of bioanalytical experts, including 15 scientists.
