Schott is currently expanding the manufacturing capacity for its Schott TopPac prefillable polymer syringes. The new production line will be installed at the company's center of excellence for pre-fillable syringes in St. Gallen, Switzerland. This move will offer a greater degree of flexibility for customers and further strengthen the importance of the Swiss site, which focuses on both, glass and polymer syringes.

Schott has been manufacturing glass and polymer syringes in Europe since 1996. Today, the production is concentrated in Switzerland and is supported by an R&D team based at the site. From here, the company has developed a portfolio of both glass and polymer syringes.
