Valeant Pharmaceuticals’ wholly owned subsidiary, Obagi Medical Products, an Irvine, California-based professional skin care company, has formed a collaboration with Nextcell Medical Company, a skin-care company headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for the exclusive distribution of Suzan Obagi, MD’s line of skin care products in the US.

Nextcell was established in 2013 by Dr. Obagi, a cosmetic surgeon and dermatologist. Obagi and Nextcell will introduce a line of Dr. Obagi’s clinical skin care products, which is expected to launch in mid-year of 2017.
