Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has partnered with Norgine, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based specialist pharmaceutical company, to develop and commercialize NER1006, a low-volume polyethylene glycol-based bowel-preparation powder for oral solution, in the US and Canada. The US regulatory filing is expected to be done in 2016. The product is intended for cleansing the colon in preparation for a colonoscopy.

Norgine will manufacture and supply NER1006 for Valeant. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
