Xcelience, a contract development and manufacturing organization, has made a structured cash investment in Powdersize, a Pennsylvania-based company specializing in milling, micronization, and powder-size classification within the pharmaceutical industry.

The investment adds particle-size services to Xcelience's portfolio. Reducing particle size through micronization increases the bioavailability of oral dosage forms when the active pharmaceutical ingredient has solubility issues.
