Almac Group, a Craigavon, Ireland-based contract development and manufacturing organization for active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products, has launched its new Almac Pod shipping service in the US for clinical supply customers.

The service incorporates the global courier network and phase-change material technology to create a temperature-controlled shipping service.

The Almac Pod was originally released in Europe.
