A subsidiary of TCP Reliable, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Poway, California. The new site will primarily focus on the production of insulated shipping containers and gel packs, as well as stocking and supplying select phase-change products.

Cryopak, which is headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, manufactures items for temperature-sensitive shipping needs, including insulated shipping containers, gel packs, phase -hange materials and temperature monitoring devices for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotechnology, and food  industries. It also offers package design and testing services.

The new facility in California is Cryopak’s first facility in the western part of the United States. DDL, another subsidiary of TCP and sister company to Cryopak, which provides testing services for medical device packaging has a facility in Fountain Valley, California.
