PCI Pharma Services, a pharmaceutical services provider, has appointed Al Moss as vice president and general manager of its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. The site serves as a Center of Excellence for contract packaging services for commercial medicines, medical devices and consumer healthcare products.

Moss has held positions at several leading companies, including: Procter and Gamble; General Mills; SABMiller, a London, UK-headquartered brewing company; British Petroleum; and most recently Coty, a beauty product manufacturer, where he led North American skincare and fragrance operations. His experience includes distribution and warehousing, logistics and transportation, supplier enablement, production, and customer capability development.

PCI’s Philadelphia facility recently expanded site capacity by adding additional high-speed bottling and blister packaging lines, as well as an expansion of its serialization capacity, part of a multi-site installation. Other capital investments include the expansion of the site’s 2-8 Celsius cold chain storage, adding to the cold chain capabilities at the Rockford, Illinois and Bridgend, UK facilities.
