UCB, a biopharmaceuticals company, has opened its UCB Solution Accelerator, an environment designed to drive collaboration between UCB and the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) community. The 2,500-square-foot innovation center will be located in midtown Atlanta, Georgia’s Centergy Building at Technology Square, part of Georgia Tech’s innovation neighborhood.

UCB is focused on the discovery and development of medicines and solutions to treat diseases of the immune and central nervous system. With an innovation center at Georgia Tech, UCB will be able to tap into Georgia Tech’s machine learning and advanced analytics resources to improve patient care and patient experience.

UCB expects the space to be used by multiple collaborators from Georgia Tech researchers, faculty and students, to UCB interns and staff from its North America headquarters, as well as from its global headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
